Until last month, first place in the overall vehicle sales rankings had been dominated by low-cost light cars such as the Suzuki Wagon R, and the Prius’ rise to the top spot was the first time a vehicle classified as a regular passenger car had done so since December 2007, when the Honda Fit claimed the title.

Second in the sales-by-model rankings was the Wagon R, with 16,185 sold, followed by the Daihatsu Move at 14,935, both light vehicles. The Honda Insight hybrid — which debuted in February — was well back in the pack at seventh place, with 8,782 of the cars leaving showrooms in June. However, while Honda’s hybrid was unable to stem the Prius’ momentum, it continues to exceed Honda’s sales target of 5,000 vehicles per month.

The Toyota Prius 2010 General Features
Toyota Prius 2010 has become a standard-bearer in its segment. Toyota Motor being one of the few car companies who manufactured gasoline-electric hybrid vehicle again hit the market with its third generation release of the Prius. It is now become so popular in the world because of its proven stellar fuel economy,
relatively uncompromised driving and acceleration characteristics and reasonable price.

The Toyota Prius (its name comes from Latin and means “to go before”) exists as a partial solution to the automobile’s problem of tailpipe emissions. The Prius, like other hybrid vehicles, has a special powertrain that combines a gasoline-fueled internal combustion engine with an electric motor. This powertrain, along with other advanced features, allows the Prius to deliver higher fuel economy and lower emissions compared to regular cars.

The Toyota Prius 2010 was completely redesigned though it’s still a four-door hatchback that seats five people. The car’s hybrid powertrain consists of a 1.8-liter gasoline engine that produces 98 horsepower and 105 pound-feet of torque that’s used in conjunction with two electric motors and a special planetary gearset that functions as a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Total system power is 134 hp.

Other changes for Prius 2010 model include a more sculpted take on the iconic hybrid shape established by its predecessor. The interior was given a more radical overhaul, with a more conventional center control stack than the old car. The hybrid system display now resides high up on the dash next to the digital speedometer, while stereo and climate controls are laid out in a traditional manner with physical buttons rather than a touchscreen (which reappears if you order the optional navigation system). The result is a car that’s easier to acclimate to. It’s also a bit more comfortable for taller drivers, thanks to a height-adjustable seat and a telescoping steering wheel.

One thing that hasn’t changed is the Prius’ superb interior packaging, which helps extends the car’s appeal beyond simple fuel efficiency. Its hatchback body style allows for an impressive amount of cargo to be lugged around, while a surprisingly commodious backseat makes it a plausible replacement for a family sedan or compact SUV.

In some reviews it was found the Toyota Prius 2010 to build upon its revolutionary predecessor’s successful formula of fuel efficiency and versatility. It’s now a more normal car to drive and use, making it easier to transition from a traditional car. While Honda’s less expensive but smaller Insight is worth a test-drive, those looking for a hybrid should still start their search with the Toyota Prius.

Though some are claiming that Toyota Prius 2010 is a complete redesign of the 1st and 2nd generation releases, it still sat five people in a four-door hatchback body that provided extra versatility in terms of carrying items. The previous models only featured a smaller, 1.5-liter gasoline engine that produced 76 horsepower and 82 pound-feet of torque. With the electric motor spinning out power, peak net hp was 110.

Toyota Prius 2010 interior changes is considered to be one of the biggest area of difference between the second-generation model. The dashboard and controls were unconventional and futuristic, with stereo, climate, vehicle system and optional navigation controls residing in a touchscreen interface. There were steering wheel buttons for frequently used items, but ultimately, too much was put under the jurisdiction of the touchscreen. The odd gear-selector action of today’s Prius was carried over from this generation, but then it was mounted on the dash.

Other reviews of the Toyota Prius cited the outstanding mileage, ultralow emissions, and hatchback utility. Ofcourse it remains cheap which is the car’s greatest strengths.

There are known downsides though. It includes soft handling characteristics at highway speeds and, compared to regular midsize sedans, unimpressive maximum acceleration.

Selecting older model of Prius based on year shouldn’t be too difficult because models built for 2002 and ‘03 might have more of a draw, as it was then that Toyota started to offer additional optional features, such as a navigation system, side airbags and cruise control.

Toyota Prius is now considered from a niche product to become Toyota’s third-best-selling model in the United States since 2003 where 2nd generation was made available in the U.S. market. It has 98% satisfaction rate which rare to happen in car industry.

Talking about Hybrid cars, aside from Prius, Toyota also has Camry Hybrid aside from Ford Fusion Hybrid.

The 2010 Toyota Prius was officially unveiled at the Detroit auto show in January 2009 and went on sale in April. This latest Prius release is bigger and more powerful. Also, the engine grew from 1.5 liters to 1.8 liters—giving a boost in horsepower from 110 to 160, and thereby reducing zero-to-60 time by a full second aside from the body is about four inches longer and about an inch wider but what is amazing is that becomes the only vehicle available today to offer 50 miles per gallon in combined city or highway driving.

Toyota Motor achieved this level of fuel efficiency by keeping Prius’ weight down but maintaining the best aerodynamics of any car being produced in the world, and re-engineering the powertrain to extend the range of all-electric gas-free driving.

The Toyota Prius 2010 Exterior Design

Toyota added a slightly sportier feel and more aggressive stance to the 2010 Prius—perhaps to disarm criticism that the Prius looks like a corrective appliance on wheels. The logo shifts from the hood to the top of the point of the grille. The crease in the doors has shifted lower, but a more pronounced angle is added above the door handles. The overall effect is to make the 2010 Prius stand taller—not as rounded and squat—as its predecessor.

The distinct space-age shape of the Prius is still apparent: a deliberate effort by Toyota to maintain the Prius’s essential and iconic appearance. Its large, diamond-cut headlamps and snub-nose front-end are the starting point for the Prius’s quasi-flying saucer appearance. The angled hood seamlessly flows into the windshield, then to a flowing roofline that is sleek and low. Short overhangs and a sawed-off rear section finish off the hybrid’s futuristic hatchback character.

Of course, beauty is subjective, so the Prius continues to receive mixed reviews on outward show. There are many who think the Prius looks gimmicky, if not entirely ugly. But for many hybrid owners, the distinctive look of the Prius sends a message, which declares that we must take steps to reduce our voracious thirst for oil—with all its negative consequences in terms of the environment and geo-politics. For this camp, the Prius is like a middle-finger-on-wheels aimed at Hummers, Suburbans, Escalades, and the like.

The Toyota Prius 2010 Bells and Whistles

The previous Prius had loads of gizmos—including keyless entry, joystick shifter, high-tech energy monitor, and a rear-view camera system. Toyota throws even more technology at the new model.

In this release, the Prius offers a moonroof and heated seats. The sliding glass moonroof, packaged with a slick-looking solar panel, provides power to a new ventilation system that doesn’t require help from the gas engine. Not only does the AC system keep the interior air temperature from heating up when the vehicle is parked, the system can be operated remotely to heat or cool the cabin before getting into the car.

Toyota Prius 2010 offers threa driving mode: Power, Economy and EV. Power improves throttle response; economy reduces throttle response for better gas mileage; and with a flip of the dashboard EV button, the car can go about one mile at low speeds without using any gasoline.

Toyota Prius 2010 also offers an optional radar system using advanced millimeter waves enables “Lane Keep Assist” to help the driver stay safely within the lane, and the “Pre-Collision System” retracts seatbelts and applies the brakes in certain conditions when a crash is unavoidable. Intelligent parking offers settings to help guide the Prius into parking spaces. A backup monitor, which provides a view of rear obstacles when reverse is engaged, is available with an optional voice-activated navigation system.

The Prius 2010 also has new touch sensor system on the steering wheel helps keep the driver’s eyes on the road. Images of the switches and their positions are shown on the instrument panel directly in front.

The Toyota Prius 2010 Interior Design

Toyota Prius 2010 or even prior release has been successful in its ability to combine great fuel efficiency and utter practicality. There will be five adults which can fit comfortably, with more than 16 cubic feet of cargo room left over in back. The 60/40 split rear seats also can be folded flat, creating a surprisingly large cargo space for hauling groceries, strollers, large boxes, etc.

Regardles of the height, drivers should comfortable driving Prius 2010. What is amazing is that, the back seat is roomy, beating the Toyota Camry by a few inches, Honda Civic Hybrid, and Honda Insight.

All are not positive anyway because the hatchback design limits the visibility through the rear window which drivers refer as the “Prius blind spot.”

Toyota Prius 2010 offers an astonishing 113 mpg, according to a report in the U.K.’s AutoExpress magazine. (Note: 113 mpg in the U.K. is equal to 94 mpg here in North America). “The whole electrical system has been redesigned to improve economy” said a Toyota engineer was quoted as saying. “We are working on a prototype that runs solely on the electric motor in slow traffic, but switches to engine and motor drive when higher speeds are needed.” The 0-62 mph time will also be improved by more than a second, according to the report, bringing it to well under 10 seconds. Much of the improvement can be attributed to the use of lithium-ion batteries instead of nickel-hydride units. The lithium-ion batteries are smaller, lighter, and have greater electrical output.

A decision of a member of the longest-ruling political clan in the country to give up politics set off
a strong move in the House of Representatives for the swift enactment of bills aimed at dismantling political dynasties.

Opposition and administration lawmakers joined Nueva Ecija Rep. Edno Joson in his bid to give life to the anti-political dynasty provision of the Constitution by passing an enabling law to make it effective.

Makati City Rep. Teodoro Locsin Jr., chairman of the Committee on Electoral Reforms, vowed to push for the two anti-dynasty measures pending before his committee.

The global financial crisis may have slightly slowed the growth of the local outsourcing sector, but the outlook and actual activities happening on the ground continue to be robust and upbeat.

This was the consensus of industry players who attended the recent “State of the BPO Industry: Mid-Year Report” conference organized by the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP) in Makati City.

The business process outsourcing (BPO) industry has vowed to work with property developers to address the sector’s demand for office spaces, a move seen to be crucial to lower rentals.

Oscar Sanez, Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc. (PHILEXPORT) trustee for the information technology (IT) services sector, said the sector is establishing demand projections quarterly to determine the period when outsourcing firms could face a supply crunch or oversupply.

“In a situation where there is oversupply and not enough demand occurring, we could work with property developers to either defer their projects to the time that you can get optimal price or advance them if they can to meet some anticipated demand short-term,” he said.

The military warned of more bombings in Central Mindanao, which it said was part of the “grand plan” of Moro rebels to sow “terror” and distract the military from its pursuit of rebel commanders.

The explosion near a church in Cotabato City on Sunday that left five people killed and scores others wounded was “connected” to explosions in Koronadal City and Datu Piang town in Maguindanao province, Armed Forces spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Romeo Brawner Jr. said.

Citing a report from the Army’s 6th Infantry Division, which is based in the region, Brawner said the recent bombings were “test missions” of new recruits to the Moro Islamic Liberation Front’s urban squad.

THE Obama administration has signaled the strongest message yet that the United States is prepared to intervene to ensure free and clean elections in the Philippines next year.

Speaking to reporters at the US Embassy celebration of July 4th on Thursday, US Ambassador Kristie Kenney said “a postponement of the general elections next year will be a cause for concern in Washington.”

This was the bluntest expression of Washington’s concern over the holding of the May 2010 elections, which has created considerable doubts in the country in the face of mixed signals from the Arroyo administration. Kenney could not have been more emphatic.

There’s nothing to stop her except ‘delicadeza’

Fr. Joaquin Bernas, an expert on constitutional law and a member of the 1987 Constitutional Commission, said he would rather that President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo did not run for Congress in 2010 as representative of the second district of Pampanga province.

“We never thought the President would be humble. If I were her, I would not seek a lower office,” Bernas said, when the issue of Ms Arroyo’s purported plan to run for Congress came up in a forum of the Council of the Laity of the Archdiocese of San Fernando here on Saturday.

Bernas, dean emeritus of the Ateneo College of Law and a Philippine Daily Inquirer columnist, said there were no legal obstacles to stop Ms Arroyo, who had previously served as vice president and a senator, should she decide to run for representative.

“Now, delicadeza ibang bagay yan (propriety is another matter),” Bernas told reporters.

The fifth fatality, a man who was said to be mentally unstable, remained unidentified as of last night. Dangane said the man, who was blown to pieces by the blast, could have caused the bomb to explode prematurely after tinkering with it.

Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Jose Melo yesterday called on critics to heed the clamor of the people to allow the automation of the 2010 elections.

Melo said critics should help the Comelec ensure the success of the automation of next year’s elections, which will do away with a voting system that is often marred by fraud and violence.

“People are calling for automation already. There is a big, big majority of Filipinos that have been clamoring for automated elections. This is why we want to automate,” Melo said.

Melo noted some critics are still insisting on a manual counting of votes on fears that the new and yet untested method of electronic voting would open more opportunities of massive fraud.

This chase scene seemed to dominate network news tonite, with live helicopter pictures from a Dallas News chopper that even for a while it make Michael Jackson’s death coverage off of the screen.

The movie-like car chase gets Americans glued to the TV screen. It was specially a spectacular car chase scene minus stuntmen though unlike the similar incident in 2007, this one ended like so many do—with a horrific crash.

Like a car chase in a movie, this scene also include spike strips, jumping off ramps, and running down signs.

The car chase in Dallas started at 635 and Interstate 30 in different stretches of Interstate in the area. The desperate driver, Shane Michel, even making his way off-road for a portion of the chase, and very nearly struck several cars in the process.

However, the car chase ended when Michel ran a red light and was bumped by a pickup truck manned not by a police but by Lance Anderson, who did not sustain any serious injuries.

Reporters and newscasters in the area are sure that the video and pictures from the car chase will flood local TV news broadcasts in Dallas and across the country.

Based on the book Extravagant Worship that Darlene Zschech authored herself, she has been part of the Hillsong Church praise team since 1986, has led the Worship and Creative Arts Department since 1996, and is co-producer of Hillsong Music Australia’s highly successful albums. While she’s always writing new praise and worship songs, she’s best known for “Shout to the Lord,” sung around the world. Darlene Zschech and her husband, Mark, and their daughters make their home in Sydney Australia.

If you notice Darlene singing in front of huge attendees in their numerous concerts, Darlene is not performing for people, but worshiping her Maker and Master, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Don Moen, another Christian Artist and Songwriter himself said “God is using Darlene to impact the way people worship all around the world. My family and I have been impacted by her ministry and her passion for the presence of God. More than a gifted songwriter and singer, Darlene is a true leader who is passionate about worshiping the Father in spirit and in truth and is committed to raising up others all around the world to do the same. Darlene is real, transparent, and vulnerable as a worship leader, but more important, she is the same person when she is not in front of thousands.”

Darlene Zschech, like her surname which is a rare word (I even asked wikipedia with the exact spelling and meaning), is a rare Christian Specie if I may say so. Sorry for the word but she’s really rare of a kind – beautiful, talented, excellent in what she does, leader, etc.

Michael W. Smith also said “Darlene’s passion for the Lord and for worshiping Him is clearly heard through her music and song.”

“When I first began singing Darlene’s songs, I knew there was a very unusual anointing on her, but I was not prepared for how impressed I would be when I personally withnessed her leading worship.” added Dr. R. T. Kendal of Westminster Chapel.

Martin Smith of the Group Delirious? also stated “Everywhere you go around the world, someone, somewhere, will be singing one of the Darlene’s songs. They have touched the church in an incredible way and have become anthems for this generation for revivalists.”

Being observant myself, I’ve seen a lot of worship leaders in many different churches in the locality tried to mimic Darlene Zschech – how she handle the microphone; her gestures in the stage while performing; her smiles; including the way she blinks her eyes. And with all what I have seen, I was trying to pray the prayer of the Lord while hanging in the Cross of Calvary “Father forgive them for they don’t know what they’re doing,” as I started to conclude that they might be committing the crime of idolatry .

Brian Houston, Senior Pastor in Hillsong Church Australia proudly stated “I love what God has done in Darlene’s life so far and I know He has so much more in store for her. Yet what truly blesses me is that she is the same person whether she is on and off the platform. She remains the same gracious, humble woman whose heart has always been to worship and glorify God.”

“Darlene’s passion, spirit, and music have captured the hearts of millions of worshipers around the world. However, as a personal friend, I’ve been able to see her as a wife, mother, pastor, and leader. Darlene’s humility, insight, and experience will help you unlock the door to the secret place.” Alvin Slaughter, Music Minister and Concert Artist.

In such a time as this, we need more Darlene Zschech in our world – spirit filled christian artist, songwriter, and singer, mother, leader, and more importantly Extravagant Worshipper.

Another popular idea that many of us believe is the notion that eliminating fat from our diets will surely make us thin. Reasons for having lowfat foods readily available for most of us. Eating fat does not necessarily make you fat, it’s actually the way your body stores fat that makes you gain weight. Too much consumption of sweets and starches stimulates your body’s production of insulin.

What is insulin and what does it do?

The pancreas is an organ that is located behind the stomach. It is where insulin, digestive enzymes and other hormones are produce. the pancreas has a group of cells called islet cells, it’s the islet cells that secrete insulin. When we eat, the food is digested and broken down into glucose. glucose is the simple sugar that is the body’s main source of energy, also known as blood sugar. carbohydrates like pasta, bread, rice potatoes are broken down into glucose and are absorbed from the intestines into the bloodstream after eating. The pancreas then secretes insulin in response to the increase in blood sugar. Without insulin, the cells in our bodies would not be able to process the glucose and therefore have no energy for movement, growth, repair or other functions. Insulin is the key which unlocks the door of the cell to allow the glucose to be transferred from the bloodstream rinto the cell.

Insulin as the body’s fat storage hormone

If a person consume a lot of starch and sugar on a frequent basis, chances are his insulin levels remain to be high. If insulin maintains its high levels, your fat is then locked into your fat cells. A good reason to easily gain weight and extremely hard to lose weight. Very high insulin levels stops the body from burning stored body fat for release as energy. Losing weight is as hard as climbing a very steep mountain because of constant craving for sugary foods aand we know what comes next, binging on something you’ve craved for the past hours.

Glucagon the fat releasing hormone

Glucagon is an important involved in carbohydrate metabolism. Produced by the pancreas, it is released when the glucose level in the blood is low (hypoglycemia), causing thetitle liver to convert stored insulin, which instructs the body’s cells to take in glucose from the blood.

Protein stimulates the release of glucagon, which stimulates the liver to release stored carbohydrates from its glycogen stores and from fat. Glucagon also inhibits the release of insulin. By controlling your intake of protein and spreading it throughout the day, you can constantly produce adequate amounts of glucagon.

Muscle Gain

Anaerobic exercise is exercise intense enough to trigger anaerobic metabolism. It is used by athletes in non-endurance sports to build power and by body builders to build muscle mass. Muscles trained under anaerobic conditions develop differently, leading to greater performance in short duration, high intensity activities, which last up to about 2 minutes.

Anaerobic exercise is activity which promotes the growth of muscle tissue,as opposed to burning fat tissue, which is the point of aerobic exercise.Anaerobic exercise involves pushing your muscles to the limits in order to encourage them to grow to meet the demands that you put on them. Unlike aerobic exercise, anaerobic exercise is short and intense. Weight lifting, sit-ups, push-ups, chin-ups, and squats are all examples of anaerobic
exercises. Anaerobic exercise does not cause weight loss; in fact, those who exercise anaerobically on a regular basis may find themselves actually gaining some weight due to the increase in muscle mass (even though their bodies are becoming leaner and trimmer, since muscle is denser than fat). However, anaerobic exercise is an important part in overall fitness precisely because of that increase in muscle. Your muscles, after all, are the ones that do the work of burning calories, and the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn.

It makes every question clarified and verified. It does not leave a trace of doubt and uncertainty.

One way or another, I wish life provides the same certainty or that God would answer every question and doubt. All these years, I get myself bombarded with WHYs and I am struck of how time and again the Lord would not answer me. It drives me to insanity because no matter how much time I would wait there seems to be no vivid answers for the trials and tribulations I or even the humanity encounter.

I would read news about the hunger and clean-water shortage in Darfur, how Zimbabwe falls into the dark era of political manipulation of its President, President Robert Mugabe, therefore, throwing the economy into disarray leading the people to starvation, not to mention the pitfalls of unemployment in Iceland and/or throughout the world down to the corruption of high and small government officials in the Philippines not minding its effect to the citizenry.

True enough that some griefs are man-made and answers can be easily known through change amongst the people themselves but how about heartbreaking circumstances that suddenly pops-out from nowhere and hit us? Situations that we feared of happening, truth is we even do anything we can under our power to avoid it, yet it came and continuously haunting and taunting us everyday for years that neither facing nor overcoming this fear isn’t even enough for an answer. You ask why and cry a bucket of tears, you feel pain in the chest and maybe even turn the world upside down just to get an answer however, in the end all you get is silence.

A leader in the church once gave a sermon saying “God is a God of process. There’s no easy answer nor an easy way out. You have to go through the process to learn the value of what you are going through. And in the end you will be more than satisfied with the result.” I have believed this in a while until I reached the point of not believing any of it anymore. I guessed my heart grown weary of waiting. I’ve grown colder even to the point of questioning God’s real existence. I couldn’t find the right heart no matter I try. I couldn’t find the Spirit no matter how i search. I’ve made a pact on myself to persevere to have my faith back on tract, read my bible everyday but to no avail i failed.

My heart is as hard as a stone and as cold as the winter wind. I’ve lost the heart of attending the sunday service because no matter how warm the people are in that place and no matter how beautiful the sermon is and was eloquently delivered there seemed nothing to melt my heart until this afternoon, I was browsing the net trying to look for a picture of an eidelweiss and what i searched was rather a scripture. It’s Hebrew 12: 1-3, which says “Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith…”. After this, i was motivated to look and write a lot more of scriptures and stick them on my desktop screen (my unused computer set beside me) and the last verse i saw was Gal.6:9 with my eyes focus on … DO NOT GIVE UP.

I realized, sometimes not asking why is the best thing to do. Why? Because it is then that we are truly surrendering everything to Jesus, the author and the perfecter of our faith. There are indeed circumstances that are beyond our understanding and the control are out of our hands. Asking why can never help instead it leads us to asking more whys and the disbelief and doubt that accompany it will also never end.

When no answer seems significant SURRENDER IT TO JESUS
… and do not ask WHY. (”,)

Laughing with gusto will turn your body into a big vibrator and performs an internal massage.

Research has shown health benefits of laughter ranging from strengthening the immune system to reducing food cravings to increasing one’s threshold for pain.

Stress management/ Benefit of laughter:

Laughter reduces the level of stress hormones. It increases the level of health- enhancing hormones like endorphins. Endorphins are among the brain chemicals known as neurotransmitters, which function to transmit electrical signals within the nervous system.

How Endorphins act as a natural Pain killers and Stress Fighters?

Endorphins interact with the opiate receptors in the brain to reduce our perception of pain and act similarly to drugs such as Morphine. Secretion of Endorphins leads to feeling s of euphoria, modulation of appetite, release of sex hormones and enhancement of the immune response. With the increase of endorphin levels, there is feeling of less pain and fewer negative effects of stress. Endorphin is released when we exercise, though endorphin release varies among individuals. Certain foods such as chocolate or chili peppers, can also lead to enhanced secretion of endorphins.. In the case of the chili peppers, the spicier the more endorphins are secreted. The release of endorphins upon ingestion of chocolate seemingly explains that ‘comforting feelings’ that many of us experience after eating chocolate and the craving for it in times of stress. One can also try engaging in various activities to increase the body’s endorphin levels. Acupuncture and massage therapy have shown to stimulate endorphin secretion. Sex is also a potent trigger for endorphin release. The practice of meditation can also increase the amount of endorphins released in the body.

Laughter is free, convenient and beneficial in so many ways. You can get more laughter in your life with the following strategies:

1. There’s no shortage of laughter opportunities from the entertainment be it on T.V. or in movies.

2. Go to a movie or comedy bar with friends. The contagious effect of laughter may mean more laugh than you ever thought . Share jokes with friends.

3. Studies show the positive effects of smiling occur whether the smile is fake or real. Fake laughter also gives the benefits mentioned above. So smile more and fake laughter.

Instead of complaining about life’s misfortunes and frustrations, try to laugh about them. If there’s something that is so disappointing and even depressing, always realize that you could look back on it and laugh! Think of how it will sound as a story and if it can be turned into a humorous one, why not? With this kind of attitude , you can also find yourself more lighthearted and silly, giving yourself and those around you more to laugh about. Approach life in a more mirthful manner and you’ll have a less stressed life.

Study shows that kids laugh an average of 307 times a day as compare to 17 times for adults. What happened to the latter? There many factors involved: personal and family problems including cares of this life, hopelessness, etc. But depending on the outlook of a person, he/she can laugh even in the midst of trials.

Laughter connects us with others, it’s also contagious, so if you can have more laughter in your life, you can most likely help others around you to laugh more and likewise benefit from it. You can reduce their stress levels, and reduce your stress level even more.

A piece of advice

Sometimes it’s good to remove our ‘glasses’ to detach our “smart image” from our real self. Being silly sometimes will make us more human because we come to realize the essence of our true self. Laughing makes us come out of our shell. The next time you want to laugh and thought of your “smarty-goody” image. Think again. Be yourself! After all, Life is what you make it.
